We are moving !

Finally after all the walking, hesistation, thoughts, we bought our desired unit. And yes I am going to invite my in laws to move in. When I tell many of my friends my decision, their first reaction would be 0_0 . As I been hearing alot of horror stories about staying with the in laws, I would say I would try my best to prevent all these horrors from happening. Generally so far, I seldom complain about my in laws until lil boy came along. The different school of thoughts and bringing up of children do drive me crazy at times. But I am looking at the pros for a bigger picture more than the cons.

For the sake of my boy receiving a better care or rather holistic care and attention, for the sake of both Hubby and I can pursue another higher level in our career with good family support, for the sake of more couple time as and when we love to, I guess this move is a wise choice since my in laws really treat me better than my own mother. I guess sometimes I need to give and take. If I entrust my boy to their care, I need to respect the way they bring up the kids since they wouldn't do anything to harm their grandson. Keep up with the optimistic thoughts. And I am confident things will work out fine.

Now am busy looking at things to dispose off and things to bring over to the new unit. Clearing the house to do valuation and putting it up on sale very soon. I am starting to miss this nest where both of us spent alot of effort building and the place where we started our family.

I am feeling teary already.

Taiwan 5/11/10 - 9/11/10

I am finally back after all the unpacking, washing (I still have half undone laundry in my laundry bag -_-) , transiting from HK to Taiwan and Taiwan to HK (very interesting transit but its a complete waste of time ) . Very tiring trip as we spent most of our time on the bus travelling to one place for 1.5 hours only to spend about an hour there and heading to another destination after that. I din manage to cover the whole of Taiwan quite expected as what can I expect for 5 days ? but did understand quite abit of it and the food is fantastic !! Hubby and I were stuffed til our throats every night with their road stalls. We were really impressed as food just tasted fantastic everywhere even at the most insignificant road stalls. Koi has no queue in Taiwan as basically everywhere is selling fantastic bubble tea and they are at like SG$2 for every large cup ! It makes me feel like an idiot buying Koi in SG but will still do it lah or else will spend even more going all the way to Taiwan right ? But Hubby said we shall start planning a free & easy trip to Taiwan again. Yippie !

I spent like almost 2 hours to resize selected pics to be posted in FB yesterday. Hence just a few of our fav pictures to post it here.

=)
