Leap Frog Alphabet Pal
Daddy says I am spoiling the boy again.
My reason was he seems bored at home lately and since the haze going to keep him indoor for sometime, so its worth spoiling him a little and this is on sales ! ha.. I can never resist the temptation for sales.
He repeated a couple of letters (A, D, E, C, M ) while he was playing it. Hence I suppose the spoiling is justified.
Boys being boys.
They can use the caterpillar as a train too.

I will be back as promise
It seems like our dear land resembles Genting except its still as hot and the air is not as refreshing and cool like the latter up in the highlands.
Yes. The haze is back. =(
I remember the first time we had haze was back in the year 1994 or was it 1995 the PSI was as bad as 121 and all our PE lessons were cancelled. I was elated then ! But I paid the price as well to be diagnose with sensitive airways back then hence through the years when the haze made its return I would suffer badly from breathelessness , bad cough and sleepless nights.
No difference for this return. I can literally feel my lungs dying from the cough and my womb nearly fell out due to the exertion.
Our dear neighbour, when are you returning our blue sky and clean air back to us ?
*and even the core herbs for the pear drink went up by $2 when I desperately went to get it today. *

The Canopy @ Yishun
Update: Eventually we are still going for the balloting. And big decision making for the weekends. Might end my SAHM mummy life pretty soon if we got our desired unit. Well, if its meant to be, its meant to be.
We went to the sales office twice last Sunday. For the first trip, we just had the look look see see mindset. As our intention is to get a place to stay near my in laws or stay together so that lil boy is in good hands while I am back to the work force. However, after the look look see see (as the showflats are really fascinating ! ) , we decided to bring our in laws down for a 2nd view as my FIL actually urge us to get the bigger unit so that we could all stay together.
Eventually we did register ourselves for the balloting , it was quite an impulsive decision hence hubby went home and again did more research on ECs and think the loan and etc is too hefty for us currently. Hence he called the sales agent the next day to withdraw our registration.
Hubby asked me am I disappointed ? I replied, it was a great dream we shared together this afternoon but I am glad he was rationale enough to wait for better opportunities.
It was nevertheless a great experience for me as it was my first time visiting a ECs sales office and hopefully there would be more opportunities in the future.

New toy in the house
We got the idea sometime back when we were at a restaurant and I am busily entertaining the active lil boy while the toddler at the next table sitting quietly while her parents and grandparents enjoying their meal. The toddler was watching her favourite mickey mouse clubhouse on her portable dvd player and lil boy actually turned and joined in while we dine. Hence his Daddy and I were hesistating for the longest time, going in and out of Courts and Harvey Norman, and finally we decided it was at the best price and bought it without any hesistation. (only to find out it was on sale the very weekend after we bought the dvd player. FOL)

He loved his new toy so much.
He watched it when travelling to his Grandparents place.
And he watched it while we dine peacefully in the restaurant.
He watched it even when he was at home when I wanted to watch my starhub channels peacefully. Looked how serious he was with his Mickey.
His Daddy was repeatedly exclaiming "It was definitely a good buy.. a good buy ! "

Nautr-a Organic Soymilk
This was introduced by Mummy Esther when we went for visiting last month. And she suggested to me to get some from Vitakids to store just in case he has diarrhea. But before I could get it in time, he was down with diarrhea on that weekend and the only soy formula available in supermarket are in big tins which Hubby and I were reluctant to get as the lil boy is really picky with his food. Hence he drank Mr Bean Soy milk for the night. The next day we zoomed down to Paragon and Hubby bought 3 packs of it at a go to store at home just in case another episode of diarrhea happen again.

MMRV Booster
The first injection on the arm can see that it is quite painful and he is bearing with it but he did not cry as usual.
The second injection was on the thigh. This time it must be too painful to bear cos our usual strong thick skin boy burst out in tears during the injection.

Art Work
Finally went down to Ikea last weekend and got lil boy a notice board to display his 'artistic' art pieces. Although all of them are done with alot of help from Mummy but I still feel proud of them as each piece represent the different motor skills he is achieving each week. I think our expectations do increases as our lil one grows. But I pinned these lil pieces up to remind myself that how proud I felt when he had all these little achievements and I should feel proud of him next time too no matter how little the achievements are and not push him too hard.
I had watched "I not Stupid 2" for countless times and there is this particular scene that is narrate by the young boy that set me thinking. " We all grew up from praises but not sure from when did the praises turn into scoldings and you no longer heard the praises anymore."
I hope down many years later I would still remember this phrase and remind myself to constantly encourage and not scold him just because I want the best for him and I love him.

Nordic Naturals DHA
Started lil boy on this for about a week plus and he has been anticipating it everyday for his DHA moment. Guess the "Great Strawberry Taste" really taste good as he would lick the spoon clean after the feed. Am contemplating to start him on other supplements too to prepare him for childcare. But his PD recommand to get all the necessary vitamins from fruits like Kiwi. Hence maybe will only source for supplements when we are back to replenish his DHA at Paragon the next visit.
