The Proposal
Ok. This is a long overdue post which I am suppose to blog about like 2 weeks ago. But I am busily selecting the limited pictures from my camera and editing it with one hand and another with a busybody toddler. That explains the overdue post.
Lincoln and Sophia are the longest couple friends that I had known since my polytechnic days. And just imagine they were together even before I knew them. Been through thick and thin, all these years they held each other hand in hand and til this day Lincoln decided to pop out the big question.
Lincoln had been doing some planning with the whole gang since 2 months ago before the proposal and we had been going through the day's plan through email and facebook , keeping Sophia in suspense. And Lincoln finally decided to pop out the big question on 7th May 2010 just one month after their anniversary.
So that night Kester came up with a super lame excuse to make Sophia believe that he is having some problems. And all of us came for an impromptu dinner at Keppel Bay Prive after his ''counselling session''.
Nobody would have guess an impromptu dinner would be at Prive right ? Ya. Our gang wasn't very high class people so we do not usually hang around for fine dining. :p So Sophia was suspecting we were up to something and Lincoln was finding excuses that he was very busy with work. In fact he was actually hiding at her place getting himself ready to surprise her. So our job was to disappoint her and let her felt that she is thinking too much and make the proposal more surprising !
Look at our dear girl, she really did suspect we are all up to something since she is all dressed up ready for party. But we ended the night early by pretending we all have plans after dinner and went our separate ways ,dashing to Jurong West and hid ourselves in her sister's room waiting to witness the moment.
And finally she says yes !!!
It was a touching moment for all of us. Everything seems like yesterday when we were still talking about the both of you at Coffee Club Express in Holland V.
Of course the proposal is never a success without these:
Prop No. 1: The Bling Bling from T & C
Prop No.2: A Bouquet of 'Flowers' - 99 stalks of them with the effort from the whole gang led by our creative directior, Mr Willie Tan.
And the night ended with a finale surprise, effort put in by the whole gang and some passers-bys, Gage & Jonathan.
A night stay at Novotel Clark Quay !
Please don't call up the hotel to ask for balloon decorations as they just provide the venue. The rest of the decoration you seen in the pic are all hand made.
Although I didn't help in the decoration nor the flowers, but I offered to be the wedding planner for their big day ! ha. F.O.C :)

Early Days Pyjamas
I just opened ceremony another set of Early Days Pyjamas from Uncle Kester. (Anyway this is not the actual pic, I grabbed it from yahoo search as I was too enthusiastic to pre wash the pyjamas for Favian. I forgotten to take any pics of it.)
Our lil one is really growing as he has began to outgrown most of his current pyjamas (there goes my expensive mothercare rompers. *wails*).
This is one of his actual set which is hanging up for drying. Can't wait to see my lil boy running around at night in it.

Playsuit
Update: I couldn't find any suitable playsuit ! They do have one playsuit in store but its filled with leopard prints ! How can ? I will look like an extremely obese leopard walking around. In the end, ended my shopping trip with Bon Bon Chix and Gindaco Teri Tama. FML.. Gave up on my playsuit search... *disappointed*
Playsuit can also be known as rompers as commonly known to all mummies. How can any mummies be unfamiliar with rompers ? Anyway I din mention playsuit in the blog title because this playsuit is the latest trend in fashion lately and it sounds weird if I say I am going to wear rompers as if I am trying to squeeze in Favian's clothes. I been looking out for playsuit lately as it would be a trendy and comfortable wear for a Mummy however after walking around in my neighbourhood shopping mall, I somehow wished I was like 20kg slimmer as all their playsuit were so pretty but I could squeeze in non. Hence for plus size babes like me, I had limited choice and I went to New Look to find some choices of playsuits.

Anyway I din mention playsuit in the blog title because this playsuit is the latest trend in fashion lately and it sounds weird if I say I am going to wear rompers as if I am trying to squeeze in Favian's clothes. After listening to his '追' , suddenly miss him alot. He reminds me of my days in primary and secondary school where I would buy his $5 casette and play in my miserable sony walkman while studying for my exams. So nostalgic.
Hope he is a happier man in the other world now.

MMRV
Actually it is suppose to be MMR injection but PD suggested to pay more for a varicella protection. I thought why not since I had not had varicella before, yesh you didn't read wrongly I do not have the immunity but when my bro was having the infection I din get it. Hence if Favian ever got infected , I think I would not escape the fate either.
Well did he cry this time ? No. I didn't expect him to cry too since he did not tear abit when he was much younger needless to say now. The nurse commented he was a brave warrior and I replied he was just borned with thicker epithelial tissue. Ok black biology humour.

Learning to talk
I received alot of comments from all the Aunties when I brought him out for marketing that he is learning to talk. Indeed his blabberings had been really more lately and he would hold my face to make me listen to his blabbers.
Hopefully by next month his blabbers would be more visible to me. :)
And maybe I can hear words like "Mummy, can I have my lunch now ?"
haha.. Ok..Fat Hope.
P.S: By the way if you notice, Mummy had styled his hair into 七龙珠. :p
